Looks like a pretty sweet system Tim.

My last system was Intel based. Ever since the Core 2 came out they seem to be ahead. I’m happy to be able to buy American again, but I’m grateful to AMD for waking Intel up. Intel was really slacking off there around the turn of the millennium.

Are you sure you don’t want to give Vista 64 a shot? I like XP for games, but it is getting a little dated. Windows 7 might come out this year. That would put you 2 versions behind. You won’t be able to use all 4 GB of ram with XP 32, and XP 64 is not something anyone would want to deal with.

I am planning on using XP32 for now, until Windows 7 comes out. I would like to give 7 a chance once it arrives. I really haven’t taken time to even research Vista 64 as I have never heard any positive comments about any “flavor” of Vista. That being said, I should at least check out the specs and forum comments and see if it has any potential for gaming.
